About

A web designer who picks up the phone.

Weavers Web Works is a one-person studio in Cornwall, Ontario. One person designs your site, builds it, launches it and answers when you call about it.

Hello

I'm Devin. I build websites for the businesses I grew up around.

Contractors, gravel pits, farms, shops, clubs, the people who fix your furnace and the people who sell you yarn. Businesses that are excellent at what they do and have never had a website that showed it.

I hand-code every site because that's how you get something that loads fast, looks like nothing else in town and stays yours. No page builders, no plugins that break in the night, no monthly fee to a platform that holds your business hostage.

Most of my clients are within an hour of Cornwall, and I like meeting in person. But the furthest one is a sheep farm in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and that project ran entirely by email and phone. Distance has never been the problem.

How I work

You talk, I listen, then I show you a working homepage concept before you commit to anything. From there it's a fixed quote, a clear timeline and a launch on your own domain with everything registered in your name.

What you can count on

Four things I don't compromise on.

They're the reason the work looks the way it does, and the reason clients stay.

Straight answers

If a feature won't help you, I'll say so. If something will cost more, you'll hear it before it happens, never on the invoice.

Hand-built

Every line of code is written for your site. It's slower for me and better for you: faster pages, cleaner search results, nothing to break.

Fast and findable

A site nobody finds is a brochure in a drawer. Speed, structure and local SEO are part of every build, not an upsell.

You own it

Domain, hosting, files and logins are all yours at launch. Keep me on for care if you like. Leave any time, take everything with you.

Working together

What it's actually like.

Communication

Phone, email or a coffee in Cornwall, whatever suits you. You deal with me directly from the first call to the last tweak, and you'll always know what's happening next.

Timeline

A homepage concept in the first week or so, the full site a few weeks after that. The pace mostly depends on how fast photos and details come back from your side.

Revisions

You see the concept in your own browser and we change what needs changing before the rest gets built. Every package includes revisions, and I'd rather fix it now than argue later.
